 5. If you're a sexy little thing and you happen to run into Chace Crawford at the club one night, make sure you don't do the one thing that will ruin any chance you might have of hooking up with him. Chace says, "My deal breaker is a really loud, awkward laugh." He says that while an obnoxious laugh is kind of funny and makes for good comedy, on a date it's like "Whoa! Deal breaker right there! Can't do it."
4. Audrina Patridge is making her movie debut in the upcoming movie "Into the Blue 2." It's a big stretch for Audrina. She'll play a pretty girl who goes to the beach a lot. This movie is a sequel to the 2005 versioin featuring Jessica Alba. It didn't do much at the box office, but it did great when it went to DVD, mainly because Jessica's in a bikini a lot.
3. Britney Spears was involved in a little fender bender yesterday afternoon when she rear-ended an Explorer in Beverly Hills. A witness says she thinks Britney was just distracted. Her bodyguard got out and gave a business card to the other driver, who then followed Britney back to her gated neighborhood to exchange insurance information. Meantime, Britney's second appearance on "How I Met Your Mother" impressed the producers so much, they're thinking about making her a regular on the show. Co-creator Craig Thomas said she was even better than the first time and that the door is always open for her to come back.
2. David Archuleta's dad Jeff showed up in the audience for last night "American Idol" show and made it perfectly clear how ticked off he is with the show's producers. Jeff was banned from backstage rehearsals, and Nigel Lythgoe told "Entertainment Weekly" that they did it mainly to take the pressure off of David. He confirmed that they asked dad not to participate in the choice of music with David or even be in the room when he's working on his routine. So last night during the show, sources say Jeff was shooting daggers at Nigel, staring him down and getting ticked off when Nigel acted like he was digging David Cook's performance. During the commercial breaks, Jeff went up the judges, hugging Paula and whispering in her ear and acting all buddy-buddy with Randy. Didn't talk to Simon at all. A witness says Jeff was trying super hard to get Diane Warren's attention, but she was trying super hard to ignore him.
1. Mariah Carey told Ellen DeGeneres that she and new hubby Nick Cannon wanted to keep their April 30th wedding in the Bahamas top secret, so they only took three friends each and the people to do her hair and help her get dressed. How romantic! But they will celebrate their first wedding anniversary with a huge wedding in the States. In fact, she says Nick's plan is to have a wedding every year. To celebrate now, though, Nick rented out Six Flags Magic Mountain last night for a wedding reception. The park was closed the public at 6pm. Mariah pulled up in a black Rolls Royce around 8pm. The party was supposed to last until midnight. The guest list included Will Smith and Stevie Wonder, but no word yet on who actually showed up.
